Beijing Honor Agricultural Development Co., LTD. is set up in 1998. Now its registered capital is 36 Million RMB. It is a professional seed company combined of R&D, production and marketing of crop seeds and seedlings. In Changping District of Beijing it has R&D stations whose area is more than 33 Ha, with a total investment of 20 million RMB. It has built facilities such as a 200 square meters Laboratory, 30 green houses, 188 plastic houses, a 400 square meters warehouse and a 300 square meters low temperature warehouse. A breeding team including three famous breeders in China is focus on R&D of cabbage, Chinese cabbage, waxy corn, sweet corn, and watermelon. The breeding team has undertook important projects from "Twelfth Five Year" national Spark Program.
By 16 years' development, the company has set up five sales regions national wide. And it has made great job in the development of cabbage, cauliflower, Chinese cabbage, carrot and cucumber seeds. It has set up offices in each sales regions, providing professional products consultation and technical service. Meanwhile the company is one of the strawberry seedlings suppliers in Beijing, doing good in strawberry propagation and sales.
Technical innovation and enterprise cooperation are the basic philosophy that the company is persevered in. In 2006 the company set up Beijing Honor Seed Institute. Meanwhile it set up close partnership with institutes and suppliers such as IVF CAAS, IVC JAAS, ZAAS, Syngenta, Hazera, Seminis, etc.
In its 16 years’ history, the company has also devoted itself to social charity and public welfare affairs: It sets up the “Honor horticulture science and Technology Award” together with the Chinese society for horticulture science, “Seed project helping the poor”, student grants for “the hope of the nation and the future in Education”, “Science and technology to the countryside”, “Best Grower Award Competition”.
